Just spent the night out at the Sculpture garden listening to Jazz music. The place was sooo packed; it’s amazing that people bring their families and friends there to have picnic and enjoy the music. Tonight was very nice weather for it too.
Been an interesting week at work…still kind of slow, but it’s good, because I’m learning. My leader gave me like a two hour “lecture” about engines and technologies that my head is sooo big now. It’s funny how as an engineer, the most I ever learn about engines is Watt’s steam engine. But I will be doing this super intense course on diesel engines soon, so hopefully I’ll be ready to add my two cents worth to the group.
I ran off to the MAC counter today; I just had to get the Mineralize Skin Finish Duo.
I mean, from the minute I saw it, I knew I just had to have it. Yes, I know, I spent a lot of money on makeup this year…sometimes, I wonder why I didn’t pursue a cosmetology degree, hehe. I mean, I did visual art and photography all through middle and high school. It’s only natural that I pursue a realm of art that makes me look gorgeous too, haha. Anyways, I do have a lot of makeup, but not as much as some of the girls on Youtube…although I feel that if I do enough Youtube videos, I too will be like one of those girls. We’ll all be gorgeous, but very very poor, because makeup is expensive. I think after one more trip to Sephora, I’m gonna take a break from buying stuff…although I have enough to last me like two or three years.
I did get a new yoga set today. My office has these free fitness classes, and yoga is apparently popular. I used to do yoga in high school, and now is a good time to pick up again. It’s very calming, peaceful, and definitely relieves stress. Think I will poke around Youtube some more for yoga videos….
